SheetWorks can convert volume models into their native skin shapes and can then generate new sheet metal parts in various gauges.

A special parameter driven function can automatically generate and process complex sub-assemblies and configurable components. SheetWorks can therefore perform elaborate calculations and time consuming processes over night.

Several formats (IGES, Parasolid, STEP, ACIS, Pro / E, DXF, DWG) are available to import 2D and 3D CAD files. The software also includes special sheet metal processing functions. These include simulations of bending tools already during the design phase, allowing immediate validation of the part production process.

SheetWorks optionally uses coining and special tools from the AP100 SDD server. This permits coining operations, nozzles, bridges, etc. to be incorporated into the design using the corresponding tools.
